Malaz's Supplementary Task 1
In the months that I have been a peer tutor, I developed positive relationships with Mrs.Holness and all the students in the class. I noticed at the beginning of the year students were shy about approaching the teacher or myself for help about certain questions, but as the semester passed by students got more comfortable about asking for help. Students who seek for help usually obtain a better mark, these are also the students with whom I have developed better relationships with. This is because when they ask me for help with a question it allows me to have time to talk with them one on one, and find out what is their best method for learning, and problem solving. I think by asking questions they showed that they strive to learn more, and in the end acheive a higher mark, and that had a positive impact on me. I also think when I showed thorough knowledge about the class by answering all the questions the students have asked, I had a positive impact on them. Mrs. Holness has a great way of approaching students that are struggeling to get through the class with an acceptable grade, she knows how to reach a student without hurting his or her feelings and that had a great positive impact on me during the past few months.
