After doing some research, i finally found the what i was looking for. It's not just step-by-step process to how to be a good peer tutor, because I'm sure all of us can be good peer tutors if we want to be this piece of information i found is about the impact you have as a peer tutor in the class or the person your tutoring.
For some of us peer tutoring is just a course like any of the other courses, we want to do good so we can get good marks and thats for it; however, if we just knew the marks we leave on the students we tutor or the influences we have on them, peer tutoring wouldn't just be one of the school courses. We peer tutors are like the backbone of the class, we have to be strong in order to support the students when they need. We are very close to the students, we even share some of the same interest and hobbes and we have our own way of explaining to them some things. The students rely on us when they dont want to ask the teacher in front of the class and "embarrass" themselves and we are always there on their side to tell them this is wrong, try the other way around. All these things i have mentioned comes from reading the site i have found, it just helps you understand that when your a peer tutor, your not just another student in the class, your presence can make the students or break them; your a "life-changer" whether its postive or negative, its up to your morals and every expression that you leave will affect them in some way or another. So i hope i have a postive influences on somelse's life and be the peer tutor that makes them not break them, encourage them not discourage them.
